Ringwood Neighbourhood Plan
Lots of people have opinions on how Ringwood should develop in the future.
Maybe you want to see more lower priced starter homes?
More cycle routes? More protection of our heritage?
Welcome to the website of Ringwood Town Council.
The aim of this website is to inform the public about the Council’s work, its services, the facilities available, together with information about the town.
Ringwood, in the County of Hampshire, is the Western Gateway to the beautiful New Forest, at a crossing point of the River Avon. For centuries it has been the traditional market town of the New Forest with its market charter dating back to 1226.
From Monday 17 May, indoor hospitality and entertainment venues will be able to open and rules about socialising will be relaxed further to allow indoor gatherings of up to 6 people or 2 households, and outdoor gatherings of up to 30 people.
You should continue to:
- work from home if you can
- minimise journeys, avoiding busy times and routes
- regularly wash your hands
- use a face covering
- keep a safe distance from others
- let fresh air in (ventilation is important)
Full restrictions and updates are available on gov.uk: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/national-lockdown-stay-at-home
Ringwood Gateway is open, but is operating on reduced opening hours and access is restricted to one customer at a time.
