The young people of the town raised over £3,000 towards the park, which cost a total of £150,000.  They played a big part in choosing the final design and will be recruiting a ‘Maintenance Crew’ to keep it clear for users and demonstrate their commitment to the project.

The annual Skate Jam takes place here and provides an opportunity for members of the community to come along and support local talent.

Carvers Courts

Carvers Courts, located at the back of Carvers Recreation Ground, offer a space to play tennis, football, basketball, netball and more.

The Courts are available to the whole community and are free to use and open all day, every day, except during school term-time break and lunch sessions when Ringwood School pupils have exclusive access.

Poulner Skate Ramp

The skate ramp in North Poulner Play Area was installed in May 2025 and is a purpose-built facility suitable for skateboards, scooters, BMX bikes, and inline skates. Manufactured locally by Ringwood-based New Forest Metalwork, it is designed for use by all ages and abilities.

The ramp was installed thanks to the generous support of several local organisations, grant funders, and members of the community, working in partnership with the Council to deliver this much-anticipated facility.
