Ringwood has a long and proud history of wonderful community events entertaining young and old in the Town.
Ringwood Town Council organises the annual Fireworks display and Ringwood Winter Wanderland events as well as one-off events, such as the commemoration of 80 years since D-Day.

Ringwood Town Council also supports events in the town including the annual Remembrance Parade, occasional markets and Ringwood’s Charter Market.
We are very fortunate to have an array of organisations contributing to events including Ringwood Carnival, Fanfare for Spring, and Pedal Car Grand Prix.

The Council has honoured the Ringwood & Poulner Toad Patrol with an Award for Outstanding Community Service in recognition of their tireless volunteer work protecting amphibians during migration season.

The Council has made the difficult decision to suspend cricket bookings at Carvers Recreation Ground from the end of the current season. This decision follows a comprehensive review of the facility’s usage, associated costs, and the overall benefit to the local community.

At our meeting on 30 April 2025, the Town Mayor presented grant aid certificates to four local organisations, recognising a total of £2,300 in support. A new round of grant applications opens in September.
