Carvers Clubhouse is gearing up for a busy summer holiday period with fun packed programme of activity.

The centre, on Carvers Recreation Ground in Ringwood, will be open 7 days a week during the school holidays.

Visitors will be able to make use of the play area, skate park and recreation ground.

They will then be able to cool off in the cafe, popular with families and young people with lots of toys and indoor and outdoor games available including table tennis, footballs and Frisbees.

Ringwood Town FC will be running a weekly football camp from 1pm to 4pm every Friday during the school holidays.

Girls and boys aged 8-12 will be able to enjoy a fun session with elements of skills and fitness for just £3.

On 31st July, there is a free First Aid workshop aimed at those using the skate park which will run from 12pm-4pm.

Anyone who uses the skate park is encouraged to come along so that they can find out what to do if they or a friend has a First Aid incident on the park.

The Kings Church, Ringwood are running free craft based Stay and Play sessions for families on the 25th July, 1st, 8th and 15th August from 11am to 3pm, offering a fabulous chance to get creative!

Ringwood Library are running free story time and crafts on the 30th July, 6th and 20th August to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the popular ‘That’s Not My….’ series.

If your child is starting Reception at infant school this September, you might be interested in the Infant School meet ups.

The team at Greyfriars Preschool are running three stay and play sessions all based around language and games on the 5th and 12th August (for Ringwood Infants School) and 9th August (Poulner Infants School).

There will also be preschool music classes, creative craft classes for children aged 8 and over, fitness classes for mums with children, yoga, buggy walks and more!
