Ringwood Grand Fireworks

Ringwood's fireworks display is set to mark bonfire night this year. The event, which will take place at Carvers Recreation Ground on Sunday November 3rd from 3.30pm until 8pm, includes a traditional bonfire, bar area and hog roast.

Gates Open at 3.30pm for fairground rides. Live entertainment starts at 3.45pm for children and there will be a child friendly firework display shortly after dusk (around 5:30pm).

From 5.45pm get ready to be entertained with live music from the fabulous Swing Unlimited Big Band – widely recognised as being one of the most entertaining swing bands on the South coast.

The bonfire will be lit at around 6.30pm with the main display at 7pm. Swing Unlimited will close the event with a second magnificent set.

Advanced tickets are £1.50 and are now on sale from Ringwood Gateway and Carvers Clubhouse (please check opening times) or £2.50 on the Gate

Frequently asked questions

The Events Team will be very busy over the next few days preparing for the Ringwood Grand Fireworks and Bonfire 2019 on Sunday so may not always be very quick to answer questions on social media. So here are a few FAQs which may help:


The only parking on site is for Blue Badge holders. You are advised to park in the main Town Centre car parks and walk.


If you are paying on the night, tickets are £2.50 per person. Pre-schoolers are free. You can still buy tickets in advance on Saturday at The Furlong from 1pm, Carvers Clubhouse from 10:30 until 5 and Sunday morning until midday.


If you are paying on the gate, having the correct change will help us and you by being able to go through a quicker queue if you come in through the Southampton Road gate. Cash only please.

What time are the fireworks?

We have two displays- a ‘low bangs’ display at 5:30pm and the main display at 7pm.

What are the ground conditions like?

Its been a pretty wet few weeks so you are advised to leave the white trainers at home!

If it's raining will the event be cancelled?

We expect the event to go ahead if its raining. If, for safety reasons, we do have to cancel we will put notices up on Facebook and the Town Council website.

Is there food and drink on site?

Yes, we have a Hog Roast, mulled wine, a beer tent, Carvers Clubhouse is open with a special events menu and much more.

Times are approximate. No refunds given on advanced tickets. There is no parking at Carvers except for blue badge holders. Please park in the main town centre car park, Carvers Recreation Ground is a 5 minute walk. No pets (except guide dogs) are allowed on site, nor fireworks (inc sparklers) or alcohol. Thank you!
