Frequently asked questions

The small team organising the event will be very busy over the next few days preparing for the event, so your help is appreciated by reading through the following FAQs before contacting us.

Parking and travel

The only parking on site is for Blue Badge holders. If you need to drive, you are advised to park in the main Town Centre car parks and walk. The Carvers Lane gate (from the War Memorial side of Carvers Recreation Ground) is likely to be quieter.

There will be road works in place that will cause delays. If you can walk to the venue, it will be a quicker and less frustrating journey.

What time are the fireworks?

We have two displays- a ‘low bangs’ display at 5:30pm and the main display at 7pm. But please note that this is an outdoor event so sometimes timings have to be amended.

Where can I find the schedule?

Please check our facebook page – Ringwood Town Council and look for the event section for up-to-date details.

What are the ground conditions like?

We have had a dry September and October so it is not too bad now but of course that can change quickly. Either way you are advised to leave the white trainers at home!

If it's raining will the event be cancelled?

We expect the event to go ahead if it’s raining. If, for safety reasons, we do have to cancel we will put notices up on Facebook and the Town Council website.

Is there food and drink on site?

Yes, we have a Hog Roast, bratwurst, coffees, mulled wine, a beer tent, Carvers Clubhouse is open with a special events menu and much more.
