Eagle eyed residents may have seen the new Town Christmas Lights being erected over the past few weeks.
On Sunday 1st December Father Christmas himself will be turning them on at 6pm following a day of festivities and entertainment.
A road closure will be in place from Market Place to Fridays Cross and Southampton Road.
Many of the local shops will be opening their doors and over 45 traders will be selling a range of gifts, clothing, decorations and homewares.
You will be able to enjoy a hog roast, mulled wine, roast chestnuts and other delicious food and drink.
Children will love to see Father Christmas arrive in The Furlong at 11:45 and travel in style to his Grotto in the Market Place.
Visits to Father Christmas are just £3 including a gift.
Stage entertainment starts at 12:30pm with a fantastic range of entertainers, singers and choirs.
The new lights will be switched on by Father Christmas himself at 6pm.
Cllr Tony Ring, Town Mayor of Ringwood, said ‘We are delighted to be able to welcome a huge range of traders and entertainers to the event. We are extremely grateful to everyone who has helped put this event on and look forward to welcoming the Town to start Christmas in Ringwood!’.
The full programme will be available on the Town Council website in the week of 25th November (although as a live and outdoor event, times are subject to change).
