The play area at Carvers Recreation Ground will be undergoing a facelift this month.

Old play equipment will be removed during the 3-4 week project to make way for new, including a new roundabout, new seesaw, two new ‘multi-play’ frames and an in-ground trampoline.

There will also be an additional swing which allows for an adult or older child to swing face to face with a toddler, which will be wonderful for children with additional needs.

The work does mean that the play area will be closed off during the refit from Monday 5th November.

However, parents need not despair! Carvers Clubhouse, on the same site, will be providing outdoor play equipment for younger children during the refit as well as their usual indoor toys and games.
