Following the recent resignation of a Ringwood Town Councillor the Council is seeking to fill the vacancy by Co-opting a local resident.
To qualify you must be British or a citizen of the Commonwealth or European Union, at least 18 years old, registered to vote in the town or have lived, worked or owned property there for at least 12 months before co-option, or lived within 3 miles of the town.
An interest in local government and a willingness to support local initiatives is a clear advantage as is local knowledge of the town, although not essential.
