Ringwood Town Council is delighted that local shops and businesses in Ringwood have entered into the spirit of Christmas again this year, with many participating in the Christmas Window Display Competition.

Of those who entered, the judging was based on original design and carried out by Councillor Tony Ring, Town Mayor of Ringwood; Adam Skirton, Pastor of Poulner Baptist Chapel; Accalia Smith and Sophie Emery, Student Advisors.

All were very impressed with the high standard of the displays, which gave them the difficult task in deciding a winner, but the judges are thrilled to announce that the overall winner for 2018 is Martin & Co. Estate & Letting Agents.

The judges thought their display of a village winter wonderland was an excellent example of festivities in a community and extremely captivating.

Those highly commended are Cake Love in the High Street and Lorraine Tarrant Antiques in Strides Lane who showed a creative Christmas flair.

Thank you to all those entrants who took part in this festive community event and for brightening up the town with your Christmas windows.
