Prior to the commencement of the meeting, the Town Clerk reported that apologies for absence had been received from Cllr Chard, Cllr Rippon-Swaine and Cllr Urwin.

F/4390 Election of Chairman

RESOLVED: That Cllr Heron be re-elected as Chairman of the Policy and Finance Committee for the ensuing year.

F/4391 Election of Vice-Chairman

RESOLVED: That Cllr Rippon-Swaine be re-elected as Vice-Chairman of the Policy and Finance Committee for the ensuing year.

F/4392 Membership of Sub-Committees and Working Parties

Cllr Wiseman questioned whether the Fair Trade Working Party should still exist and the Town Clerk advised that it would be worth keeping this group, which works closely with Ringwood School. Although dormant at present, it is hoped to it may be reconvened if local residents can be persuaded to join. Cllr J Terry resigned from the Ringwood Festival Steering Committee.

RESOLVED:
1) That Cllr Woodifield be appointed to replace Cllr J Terry on the Ringwood Festival Steering Committee;

2) That, having served its purpose, the Working Party for Mount Pleasant Lane be disbanded;

and

3) That Members be retained on the Sub-Committees and Working Parties as follows for the remainder of period of office of councillors:
