A meeting of the above Committee will be held at “Greenways” on Wednesday 12th May 2010 at 7.00 pm* or at the conclusion of the public participation session at 7.10 pm and your attendance is requested.

3. MINUTES OF THE PREVIOUS MEETING

To approve as a correct record the minutes of the meeting held on 7th April 2010.

4. THE MOUNT

To consider Council’s Resolution (3) Minute C/5026 (28.04.10):
That the Recreation, Leisure & Open Spaces Committee be requested to consider seeking developers’ contributions for improvements to the access track to the Mount, through minor drainage works to the south end of Narrow Lane, without destroying the character of the Lane.

5. PLANTING PROPOSALS FOR SOUTHAMPTON ROAD

a) To consider proposals for shrubs/trees/plants in new planters and beds in Southampton Road, as part of the Environmental Improvements project;
b) To consider removal and re-use of existing planters in Southampton Road.

6. ALLOTMENTS

a) To consider parking arrangements at Hightown Road Allotments;
b) To consider report on non cultivation of allotments at Upper Kingston and Southampton Road and approve action to deal with the problem.

7. CEMETERY

a) To consider a quotation relating to improved security at the Cemetery;
b) To receive report on action taken following vandalism to the toilets;
c) To consider a request for crosses on unpurchased family graves at Ringwood Cemetery;
d) To consider arrangements for clearing grass/weeds around kerbs/headstones.

8. WOTS PROJECT AT CARVERS

To consider proposal for the Word On the Street (WOTS) mobile youth outreach project bus to be parked at Carvers Recreation Ground.

9. RINGWOOD TOWN FOOTBALL CLUB

To consider request for Clubhouse kitchen to be utilised for separate business during daytime.

10. DANNY CRACKNELL POCKET PARK (DCPP)

To receive an update from the Town Clerk regarding the Landscape Architect’s landscape layout and planting plan.

11. PARKING AT BICKERLEY

To consider use of the Bickerley Common for parking for Ringwood Festival

12. EXCLUSION OF PUBLIC & PRESS

To consider exclusion of public and press for the following item:

13. CARVERS MOUND SLIDE

To consider proposals and indicative prices for replacement mound slide and associated groundworks at Carvers Recreation Ground.
