A meeting of the above Committee will be held at “Greenways” on Wednesday 21st April 2010 at 7.00pm* or at the conclusion of the public participation session at 7.10pm and your attendance is requested.

PUBLIC PARTICIPATION:

*The meeting will be preceded by a public participation period of up to 10 minutes at 7.00pm. If no member of the public wishes to speak to the Council, the meeting will start at 7.00pm. Members of the public are also entitled to speak during the meeting on individual items on the public agenda in accordance with the Council’s public participation scheme.

To approve as a correct record the minutes of the meeting held on 17th March 2010.

4. FINANCIAL REPORTS (Report A attached):

a. To receive and authorise list of payments made on Imprest Account in March
b. To receive and authorise list of Petty Cash payments for March
c. To receive Statement of Town Council Balances
d. To authorise Inter Account Transfers
e. To note the Finance Manager’s report and receive Budgetary Control Reports on the Probable Actuals for period April 2009 to March 2010.

5. RINGWOOD FESTIVAL

To receive minutes of the meeting of the Ringwood Festival Steering Committee held on 12th April 2010 and approve proposals therein (Report B attached)

6. GRANT AID

To consider the following applications for Grant Aid (Report C attached):

1) Hampshire County Youth Band Association
2) Farming & Wildlife Advisory Group
3) Vitalise
4) Ringwood Police Station
5) Avon Valley Concerts
6) Ringwood & Burley Band
7) Greyfriars Pre-school

7. NEW FOREST ASSOCIATION OF LOCAL COUNCILS (NFALC)

i) To receive a verbal report on the outcome of the meeting held on 25th March to discuss liaison arrangements with New Forest District Council and New Forest National Park Authority.

ii) To consider proposals for a new constitution

iii) To consider whether to propose dissolution of NFALC and its replacement with a new association and report proposals of other large councils

8. THE MOUNT, POULNER

To consider Recommendation OS/5202 of the Recreation, Leisure & Open Spaces Committee: “That the District Council be asked to release a sum of £5,000 from developers’ contributions for a feasibility study into improvements to The Mount, Poulner”

9. VISITOR INFORMATION CENTRE

To receive a report from District Councillors for Ringwood

10. TOURISM INITIATIVES

To consider tourism potential in Ringwood (Report D attached)

11. TOURISM CAN (COMMUNITY ACTION NETWORK)

To consider appointing one member to attend Tourism CAN meetings.

12. BLASHFORD LAKES FORUM

To consider report on proposed review and amendment of management plan. Town Mayor, as Council’s representative, to report.

13. YOUTH CAFÉ

To receive a report of meetings between Cllr Heron, the Town Clerk and students.
