5. RINGWOOD FESTIVAL
To receive minutes of the meeting of the Ringwood Festival Steering Committee held on 15th March 2010 and approve proposals therein (Report B attached)

To consider request for support from Southsea Town Council (Report C attached)
7. SCHEDULE OF COMMITTEE MEETINGS – 2010-2011
To consider the draft Schedule of Meetings for May 2010 to December 2011 (Report D).
Note: the schedule is normally May to May but has been extended to December 2011 to allow meeting dates to be published on the proposed official Town calendar
8. GRIT BINS
To consider a letter from the Leader of Hampshire County Council offering to provide Grit Bins within the Town. Previously, the County Highways has indicated that the person/organisation spreading the grit would be liable for dealing with any third party claims arising from carrying out this function. The County Council has been asked whether it will indemnify the Town Council against any such claims and a response will be reported to the meeting.
9. PLANNING APPLICATION – 73 CHRISTCHURCH ROAD
As the Town Council is the neighbouring property, to consider Application No 10/95100 – 73 Christchurch Road: Demolition of existing outbuilding (Conservation Area Consent to demolish).
10. STREET LIGHTING MAINTENANCE CONTRACT
To consider renewing the contract with Southern Electric Contracting for maintenance of lighting columns at Carvers Recreation Ground at £220.85 per annum for the next two years.
11. FAIRTRADE
a. To consider appointing Members to join Ringwood School Fairtrade organisation to promote fair trade in the Town. Town Clerk to report.
b. To consider a report on a Tea Dance & Fashion Show being organized by the School in support of fairtrade.
12. JUBILEE LAMP WORKING PARTY
To receive notes of the Jubilee Lamp Working Party meeting held on 14th January 2010 and approve proposals therein (Report E attached)
13. RINGWOOD VISITOR INFORMATION CENTRE
To receive a report from the Town Mayor on the future of the Visitor Information Centre
14. MEMBERS’ ALLOWANCES
To consider the Town Clerk’s Report (attached as Report F)
15. SKATE PARK
To note that three quotations have been received for additional equipment and, following consultation with users, to accept the quotation from the preferred supplier. |
