A meeting of the above Committee will be held at “Greenways” on Friday 30th July 2010 at 2.00pm* or at the conclusion of the public participation session at 2.10pm and your attendance is requested.

*The meeting will be preceded by a public participation period of up to 10 minutes at 2.00pm. If no member of the public wishes to speak to the Council, the meeting will start at 2.00pm.

Members of the public are also entitled to speak during the meeting on individual items on the public agenda in accordance with the Council’s public participation scheme.

2. MINUTES OF THE PREVIOUS MEETING

To approve as a correct record the minutes of the meeting held on 2nd July 2010.

3. PLANNING APPLICATIONS

To consider applications received for the periods ending 30th June, 7th July, 14th July, and 21st July
(see Report A attached).

4. PLANNING CONTRIBUTIONS

To consider the issue of developers’ planning contributions/obligations and the need to raise concerns with New Forest District Council (NFDC) about the effect on future development (see Report B attached).

5. SIGN CLUTTER HOTSPOTS

New Forest National Park Authority is working with Hampshire County Council Highway Authority on a programme to reduce the number of unnecessary or poorly designed road signs. Members are requested to identify any ‘sign clutter hotspots’ within the Parish or anywhere in the National Park.

6. TOWN ACCESS PLAN

To receive a progress update. Deputy Town Clerk to report.

7. BENCH OUTSIDE 5 MOUNT PLEASANT LANE

Further to a site visit by Members (P/4788 refers), to consider the relocation of the bench.
