A meeting of the above Committee will be held at “The Wedding Room”, NFDC Offices, 65 Christchurch Road on Friday 6th November 2009 at 2.00pm* or at the conclusion of the public participation session at 2.10pm and your attendance is requested.

PUBLIC PARTICIPATION:
*The meeting will be preceded by a public participation period of up to 10 minutes at 2.00pm.  If no member of the public wishes to speak to the Council, the meeting will start at 2.00pm.

Members of the public are also entitled to speak during the meeting on individual items on the public agenda in accordance with the Council’s public participation scheme.

To approve as a correct record the minutes of the meeting held on 9th October 2009

4. PLANNING APPLICATIONS

To consider applications received for the periods ending 7th October, 14th October, 21st October and 28th October 2009 (Report A attached)

5. BUS STOP OUTSIDE 69 EASTFIELD LANE

To consider proposals from Hampshire County Council to improve the bus stop outside 69 Eastfield Lane
(see attached Report B)

6. COMMITTEE BUDGET 2010/2011

To give initial consideration to proposals for inclusion in the Committee’s budget for 2010/11 (Report C attached)

7. LOCAL BUS SERVICES – QUESTIONNAIRE

To consider the response to the Hampshire County Council questionnaire (see Report D; suggested response to follow)

8. NEW FOREST DISTRICT COUNCIL PREPARATION OF SITES & DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT DEVELOPMENT PLAN DOCUMENT

To consider which sites within the Town to put forward as suitable housing and employment land for possible inclusion in the above (see attached Report E)

9. PROPOSED CROW ARCH LANE TO MOORTOWN LANE CYCLEWAY

To consider future implementation of the proposed cycleway as identified in the Local Plan

10. PEDESTRIAN SIGNING SCHEME

To consider authorising the use of the available budget of £10,000 as a contribution towards the Pedestrian Signing Scheme, subject to Hampshire County Council funding the balance and being able to deliver the Scheme

11. TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT ISSUES

To receive the Deputy Town Clerk’s verbal report following the Informal Members’ Meeting held on 29th October 2009
