A meeting of the above Committee will be held at “Greenways” on Wednesday 3 September 2008 at 7.00 pm* or at the conclusion of the public participation session at 7.10 pm and your attendance is requested.

Public Participation

1. Minutes of the Previous Meeting

To approve as a correct record the Minutes of the Meeting held on 2 July 2008.

2. Land at Folly Farm

To consider proposals of the Shieling School for the land and the lane at Folly Farm following the Meeting of Full Council in July (see attached excerpted Minute C/4839).

3. Seats on the Bickerley

To appoint Cllr Ford (to replace the late Cllr M Daly) to the Working Party on the provision of seats on the Bickerley (see attached excerpted Minute OS/4864 from Recreation, Leisure & Open Spaces Committee, 7 February 2007).

4. Renovation of Headstones

To consider proposals for the renovation/repair of headstones at Ringwood Cemetery by Churches Together In Ringwood.

5. Vehicle Sheds at Carvers Recreation Ground

To consider the acquisition of a secure cage or cabin to safeguard equipment.

6. Ringwood Town Football Club Clubhouse

To consider a proposed work schedule and costings for the refurbishment of the Clubhouse (attached).

7. Social Club / Scouts Land Acquisition

To receive an oral report from the Town Clerk on the negotiations with the Scout organisation and the Social Club regarding land adjacent to the Bickerley and to approve the acquisition/disposal of land at Social Club/Scouts.

8. Request to Purchase Land in Hightown Road

To consider a request for the Town Council to purchase land to the rear of 144-150 Hightown Road (land is subject of planning application 92514 for 8 dwellings, awaiting decision) in order that this may be used as a communal area of open space for residents.

9. Allotments

To receive a report on action taken where allotments have not been cultivated to an adequate standard.
