3. The Bickerley – Provision of Seat
Each District Councillor is now allocated a sum of £500 by the District Council to address the local needs of the community of his/her District Ward. Cllr Mrs C Ford has decided that although the provision of a new seat adjoining the path on The Bickerley is outside her Ward, it will benefit her constituents, and has decided to utilise the funds for this purpose. The cost (including delivery and fitting) of one seat, selected by the Working Party appointed to approve seat designs, exceeds the provision referred to above. In order to enable the seat to be provided, which will meet a need already identified by the Town Council, additional funding of approximately £150 is required. The Committee is requested to authorise expenditure to support this purpose.
4. Allotments

Failure to lock gates will be deemed a transgression of the allotment rules and could lead to loss of entitlement to an allotment.” (please see attached copy of Allotment Rules 2005)
iii) To consider a request from one applicant for an allotment that he should have priority for allocation of an allotment at Southampton Road or Long Lane over those allotment holders recently moved by the Town Council from the Hightown Road site.
