A meeting of the above Committee will be held at “Greenways” on Wednesday 21 May at 7.00 pm* or at the conclusion of the public participation session at 7.10 pm and your attendance is requested.

Public Participation:

*The meeting will be preceded by a public participation period of up to 10 minutes at 7.00pm. If no member of the public wishes to speak to the Council, the meeting will start at 7.00pm.

Members of the public are entitled to speak on individual items on the public agenda in accordance with the Council’s public participation scheme.

1. To approve as a correct record the Minutes of the meetings held on 16 April and 7 May 2008

2. Financial Reports (attached):

a) To receive and authorise list of payments made on Imprest Account in April 2008
b) To receive and authorise list of Petty Cash payments for April 2008
c) To receive Statement of Town Council Balances
d) To authorise Inter Account Transfers
e) To note the Finance Manager’s report and receive Summary Budget Reports for period April 2007 to March 2008

3. Standing Orders – Questions

To receive the Town Clerk’s report reviewing the Standing Order as to meetings requiring notice to be given of questions of the Mayor or Town Clerk (attached)

4. Student Advisors

a) To receive the Town Clerk’s report and approve the recommendations therein (attached)

5. Grant Aid

To consider the following applications for grant aid (attached):

a) Hampshire Children and Families Forum – Early Years Project
b) Salterns Playscheme
c) Vitalise

6. New Forest District Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessment

To consider recommending suitable sites to meet future housing requirements.

7. Tourism Group

a) To note interest in enhancing the tourism group for the Town and confirm the Town Council’s interest in being involved.

b) To appoint one or two members to represent the Town Council on tourism issues and to attend the Tourism Community Action Network (CAN) meeting on 3 June at the Lyndhurst Park Hotel.

8. Town Plan

To confirm action taken for the Official Launch of the Town Plan

9. Extension of Ringwood Cemetery

To consider recommendations from Recreation, Leisure & Open Spaces Committee on the response from the District Council on the Double Taxation issue (Minute OS/4993 attached) and the updated estimated costs in the Feasibility Study (attached)

10. EXCLUSION OF PUBLIC AND PRESS

11. Ringwood Town Football Club

To consider recommendations of Recreation, Leisure & Open Spaces Committee on the rent review and condition of premises (Minute OS/4999 attached).

12. Mount Pleasant Lane

To receive an oral report from the Town Clerk and authorise sealing of documents relating thereto.
