1. Minutes of the Previous Meeting
To approve as a correct record the minutes of the meeting held on 16 July 2008.
2. Financial Reports (attached):
a) To receive and authorise list of payments made on Imprest Account in July and August
b) To receive and authorise list of Petty Cash payments for July and August
c) To receive Statement of Town Council Balances
d) To authorise Inter Account Transfers
e) To note the Finance Manager’s report and receive Summary Budget Reports for period April 2008 to August 2008
3. Grant Aid
To consider an application for grant aid from New Forest Disability Information Service (attached)
4. Flexible Retirement Policy
To consider recommending to Council the adoption of a Flexible Retirement Policy as set out in section 7 of the attached report to New Forest District Council’s General Purposes and Licensing Committee, and as required by changes to the Local Government Pension Scheme. With regard to paragraph 7.1.7, it is recommended that all cases be considered by the Town Clerk, Town Mayor and Chairman of Policy & Finance Committee, with the exception of any request by the Town Clerk, which should be considered by Council.
5. Local Government Pension Scheme – Discretionary Policies
To consider recommending to Council the adoption of a revised Pension Policy Statement, as required by changes to the LGPS (report attached)
6. Hampshire Association of Local Councils AGM
a) To consider whether to support two resolutions under item 13 of the Hampshire Association of Local Councils Agenda for the AGM on 27 September (attached)
b) To consider Agenda Item 7 proposals for membership fees for 2009/10, which would result in an increase from £665 paid in 2007/08 to £748 for 2009/10 (attached)
