*The meeting will be preceded by a public participation period of up to 10 minutes at 2.00pm.  If no member of the public wishes to speak to the Council, the meeting will start at 2.00pm.
Members of the public are entitled to speak on individual items on the public agenda in accordance with the Council’s public participation scheme.

2. Planning Applications

To consider applications received for periods ending 26th March, 2nd April, 9th April, and 16th April 2008
(schedule attached).

3. Community Safety Initiative 2008/9 – Street Lighting in Kings Arms Row

To note that Hampshire County Council has made no funding available for this year’s initiative and to consider whether Ringwood Town Council should fund the proposal. Estimated cost between £1,500-£3,000; budget £1,000.

4. Ringwood Traffic Management Issues

To consider items for the Agenda of the Meeting to be held in May of the Ringwood Traffic Informal Local Members Liaison Group.

5. Parking Outside Schools

To consider the Town Clerk’s report (attached)

6. Christchurch & East Dorset Core Strategy – Issues and Options

To consider responding to the Transport and Bournemouth Airport sections of this consultation (extracts attached).

7. New Forest District Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessment

To note receipt of consultation on land suitable for housing development prior to formal consideration at the next meeting of the Committee on 23rd May 2008.

8. Taxi Shelter

To note receipt of a donation from Sainsbury’s and consider the implications of price increases on original quotations.

9. E-Planning Consultation

To consider the Deputy Town Clerk’s Report (attached)
