A meeting of the above Committee will be held at “Greenways” on Wednesday 12th September 2007 at 7.00 pm* or at the conclusion of the public participation session at 7.10 pm and your attendance is requested.

PUBLIC PARTICIPATION:

The meeting will be preceded by a public participation period of up to 10 minutes at 7.00pm.  If no member of the public wishes to speak to the Council, the meeting will start at 7.00pm.

Members of the public are entitled to speak on individual items on the public agenda in accordance with the Council’s public participation scheme.

1. To approve as a correct record the Minutes of the meeting held on 4th July 2007

2. Carvers Recreation Ground

To consider outcome of ‘Street Meet’ held at Carvers and further requests to move the seat adjacent to the rear gardens of the properties at Collins Lane.

3. Tennis Facilities


a) To consider report on unpaid accounts levied on the Tennis Club in respect of costs incurred on court maintenance and repairs to the pavilion following its vacation by the Club and also the future of the grass courts (attached);

b) To approve action taken in order to bring the former tennis pavilion back into use as a drop-in centre.

4. Winter Planting

To consider quotation for winter planting display.

5. Pocket Park

a) To consider complaints from residents about use of the park by the public;

b) To consider report on the ‘Street Meet’ organised by the Police for 7 September.

6. Ringwood Cemetery

To receive update on arrangements for works to provide the extension to the Cemetery and to consider alternative arrangements for dealing with ashes from cremations.

7. Gas Works in High Street

To confirm actions taken for use of part of the Bickerley adjoining Pocket Park for storage of spoil and materials in connection with the replacement of the gas main in the High Street.

8. EXCLUSION OF PUBLIC AND PRESS

9. Rugby Facilities at Ringwood Junior School

To consider current position and requests for payment of latest invoices, (copy correspondence attached).

10. Land at Long Lane

To approve revised terms for renting land for additional pitches.
