A meeting of the above Committee will be held at “Greenways” on Wednesday 7th October 2007 at 7.00 pm* or at the conclusion of the public participation session at 7.10 pm and your attendance is requested.

PUBLIC PARTICIPATION:

The meeting will be preceded by a public participation period of up to 10 minutes at 7.00pm.  If no member of the public wishes to speak to the Council, the meeting will start at 7.00pm.

Members of the public are entitled to speak on individual items on the public agenda in accordance with the Council’s public participation scheme.

1. To approve as a correct record the Minutes of the meeting held on 3rd October 2007

2. Committee Budget 2008/09

To consider proposals for inclusion in the Committee’s Budget for 2008/09 (Report attached)

3. Ash Grove Play Area

To receive Report from the Deputy Town Clerk on the outcome of the meeting with local residents and to approve action agreed at the meeting (Report attached)

4. Carvers Recreation Ground

(a) To receive update on use of Tennis Pavilion as a Drop-In Centre

(b) To review outcome of discussions with the Planning Officer about security lighting
at the cricket pavilion

(c) To consider options and quotations for replacement of the slide in the children’s play area and agree a way forward

5. Dog Control Orders

To consider consultation from New Forest District council regarding options available to implement new provisions under the Clean Neighbourhoods and Environment Act 2005 (Report attached)

6. Rugby Facilities at Ringwood Junior School

To receive any further information on progress of the scheme

7. Exclusion of Public and Press

8. Land at Long Lane

To receive update on negotiations for the purchase of land at Long Lane
