A meeting of the above Committee will be held at “Greenways”, 71 Christchurch Road on Wednesday 21st November 2007 at 7.30pm*, or at the conclusion of the Special Council Meeting whichever is the later, and your attendance is requested.

*The meeting will be preceded by a public participation period of up to 10 minutes at 7.30pm or at the conclusion of the Special Council Meeting. If no member of the public wishes to speak to the Council, the meeting will start at 7.30pm, or at the conclusion of the Special Council Meeting.

Members of the public are entitled to speak on individual items on the public agenda in accordance with the Council’s public participation scheme.

d) To authorise Inter Account Transfers

3. Grant Aid

To consider the following applications for grant aid (attached):

i) Ringwood Rotary Club
ii) Victim Support Hampshire and Isle of Wight
iii) Forest Forge Theatre Company
iv) Bisterne Village Hall Committee

4. Committee Budget 2008/09

To consider report on the Committee’s 2007/08 budget and proposals for 2008/09 (attached)

5. Council Budget and Precept 2008/09

To consider report on the Council’s budget and precept for 2007/08 (attached)

6. Dog Control Orders

To consider consultation from New Forest District Council regarding options available to implement new provisions under the Clean Neighbourhoods and Environment Act 2005 (report attached).

Note that both the Recreation and Planning Committees have recommended that Option 4 be the Council’s preferred option.

7. Hampshire Association of Local Councils – Management Development Programme

To approve attendance of Members on this programme and the payment of their reasonable travel expenses

8. EXCLUSION OF PUBLIC AND PRESS

9. Staffing Matters

i) To consider extending the Technical Officer’s contract for a period of 12 months to 31st December 2008

ii) To consider arrangements for implementation of the Town Plan and the effect this will have on the temporary post of Project Officer

iii) To consider arrangements for reorganisation of the office staffing structure

iv) To consider increasing the number of hours undertaken by the Finance Officer
