A meeting of the above Committee will be held at “Greenways”, 71 Christchurch Road on Wednesday 18th October 2006 at 7.00pm*, or at the conclusion of the public participation period at 7.10pm, and your attendance is requested.

*The meeting will be preceded by a public participation period of up to 10 minutes at 7.00pm.  If no member of the public wishes to speak to the Council, the meeting will start at 7.00pm.

3. To approve as a correct record the Minutes of the meeting held on 20th September 2006

4. Financial Reports (attached):

a) To receive and authorise list of payments made on Imprest Account in September 2006

b) To receive and authorise list of Petty Cash payments for September 2006

c) To receive Statement of Town Council Balances

d) To authorise Inter Account Transfers

e) To note the Finance Manager’s report and receive Summary Budget Reports for period April to September 2006

5. Expenditure Plans 2007/08 – 2010/11

To give initial consideration to proposals for inclusion in the Council’s Expenditure Plans

6. Ringwood Junior School Playing Field

To authorise payment of architect’s fees for the proposed development at Ringwood Junior School

7. Greenways – Damaged Boundary Wall

To authorise repairs to a section of the boundary wall at the entrance to Greenways that has been damaged by a vehicle or vehicles entering the shared driveway

8. Christmas Lights

i) To consider the date and time of the Christmas Lights Switch-On

ii) To receive a progress report on the provision of electricity supply to the deciduous trees in the Market Place

9. South West Corner of Furlong Car Park

i) To consider recommendations, if any, from the Planning, Town & Environment Committee, following its meeting on 13th October 2006

ii) To consider the appointment of a member to represent the Town Council at the District Council’s Ringwood Town Centre Steering Group

10. The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005

To receive report on action required to comply with new fire safety legislation

11. Urgent Business

12. EXCLUSION OF PUBLIC AND PRESS

13. Project Officer

To consider an extension to the Project Officer’s contract.
