Appeal for witnesses after theft from lorry in Ringwood

Police are appealing for witnesses following a theft from an articulated lorry in Ringwood.

 

The incident occurred at around 12.15pm on Wednesday August 25 while the white lorry was parked opposite Motor World at the junction of Meeting House Lane and Pedlars Walk.

 

As the driver made a delivery nearby the cab of the lorry, which had a refrigerated trailer, was broken into and property was stolen.

 

PC Claire Holmes said: “This incident occurred on a busy market day when there would have been a large number of people in the area. “I would like to hear from anybody who witnessed this incident or who has heard any information about it.

 

” Anyone with information about this incident should contact PC Claire Holmes at Ringwood police station on 101. Alternatively you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
