Police now can name the man who died when he was in collision with a car on Friday night, November 21.
He was Simon Durham, 44, of Northbury Road, Ringwood.
Mr Durham died at Southampton General Hospital after colliding with a Seat Ibiza as he crossed Gorley Road, Ringwood, shortly after 7pm.
The driver of the Seat, a 25-year-old Ringwood woman, was shocked, but uninjured.
