Dear Sir,
I was honoured to be elected Town Mayor in May, especially as Ringwood has such a fine history of community involvement and activities and this has proved to be the case in the short time that I have been in office.
One wonderful example of this is the recent Carnival. What an exceptional weekend we have just had and, on behalf of Ringwood Town Council, I would like to congratulate the Carnival Committee for their superb organisation of this year’s event. As we all know, these things do not just happen, it takes time and effort to ensure that everything goes smoothly on the day.
I sincerely hope that the Carnival Committee will continue with its good work and other volunteers will come forward to help them so that surplus proceeds can continue to be given to local good causes.
