Police officers from the CountryWatch team based at Lyndhurst have charged a Ringwood pet shop owner with the illegal sale of protected species.
Dawn Maria Clarke, 41, of Verwood Road, Ashley, has been charged with five offences Contrary to the Control of Trade in Endangered Species (Enforcement) (Amendment) Regulations 2005.
Ms Clarke owns and manages the Ringwood Pets shop in Christchurch Road, Ringwood. She has been police bailed to appear at New Forest Magistrates Court on Friday, October 26.
