Witnesses wanted to Ringwood street fight that left police officer injured

Police in Ringwood are appealing for witnesses to a street fight in Meeting House Lane, Ringwood, in the early hours of Sunday, March 18.

Police were called just before 12.30am following reports that between 20-30 people were involved in the melee.

When one of the attending officers stepped in to restore order, she received a blow to the head which resulted in minor bruising to her face.  After calming things down, a few minor scuffles followed before order was completely restored.

Anyone who was in the area and witnessed the fight or may have knowledge of what led to it is being urged to contact the police.
