A glamorous and elegant night out is assured when Cabaret troupe Polite Society, bring their tribute to the work of Cole Porter and Noel Coward to the Carlton Suite at Ringwood Conservative Club on the 13th of July at 7.30pm.
The production, entitled “Songs to Amuse” takes the audience through some of the two maestros best loved compositions and features Celia Cologne and Richard Bennet, both well known to supporters of Ringwood Music and Dramatic Society who are joined by Pam Goldsbrough and Alan Colclough.
Alongside the performance, there will be light refreshments and a licensed bar allowing patrons to sip a champagne cocktail while they listen to some of the most sophisticated and amusing songs ever written.
The performance is presented as part of the Ringwood Festival 2007. Tickets are available from Ringwood Town Council Offices, Ringwood Conservative Club, or members of the cabaret team, price £15.
