Assault incident at Ringwood car park

Police are appealing for information following an assault incident at Vereley Hill Car Park in Ringwood.

The incident took place at approximately 2.30am on Saturday, August 4.

A group of four men were out driving in a blue coloured Citroen Saxo when they stopped at Vereley Hill Car Park. They saw another car parked up with a tent and began speaking to the occupants, two men and two women.

The two men became aggressive and assaulted two of the group.

One man sustained injuries to his face and eye, another man sustained cuts to his body.

Both men received treatment at Odstock Hospital.

The occupants of the tent are described as:

Man one:
  • 17-19 years old
  • 5ft 10ins tall
  • Medium build
  • Short dark hair
  • White
  • Wearing black boxer shorts and a black ‘Nike’ t-shirt
  • Clean shaven
  • Clear Complexion

Man two:

  • 17-19 years old
  • 6ft tall
  • Slim build
  • Short dark hair
  • White
  • Wearing dark blue tracksuit bottoms and a plain dark top
  • Stubbly face

Woman one:

  • 17-20 years old
  • 5ft 8ins tall
  • Slim build
  • Long blonde hair
  • White
  • Wearing a white top and dark trousers

Woman two is described as being similar to the first woman but wearing a pink coloured top.

Anyone who may have witnessed this incident or believes they may have seen the other vehicle and tent earlier in the evening is asked to contact CID at Lyndhurst police station on 0845 045 45 45, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
