Ringwood questionnaire

‘After the Post Office had initially indicated that they could deliver the leaflets early in July we were astounded when the final order was given that a delivery date for distribution in the same week or two for the whole of Ringwood had slipped back to 2007.

Under the new competition rules, other organisations are also permitted to deliver leaflets and in order to meet our deadlines and the promises we had given Ringwood residents about consulting them on the Healthcheck, we contracted with a second firm to carry out the deliveries’, said Councillor Terry. 

‘Regrettably, it now appears that the delivery contractors have simply missed substantial parts of the town.’

The Town Council will be carrying out a further consultation exercise after the summer holidays and Councillor Terry added that ‘the responses received to date provide a good indication of the issues which are concerning residents and we can build that information into our leaflet distribution to obtain the further views of our residents.’

Any person who has not received the leaflet and had an opportunity to complete the questionnaire can view both at the Town Council’s website on www.ringwood.gov.uk and can complete the form online and return it to the Council.

 Alternatively, any resident who wishes to phone the Council’s offices on 01425 473883 will be sent a copy of the form by post so that it can be returned under a freepost arrangement to the Town Council.
