| Hampshire County Council is set to improve the lighting on the footpath alongside the A31, between Eastfield Lane and Parsonage Barn Lane, and the A31 footbridge adjacent to Queensway.
The Town Council is being consulted on proposals for a column replacement programme, which will provide for an increase in the amount of columns, thereby lighting the footpath more effectively and creating a safer environment for local residents.
A plan of the proposals is available to view in the Town Council offices and comments are invited by Wednesday 22nd March 2006. |
