Police are appealing for witnesses following a road traffic incident involving a pedestrian and red Renault Clio in Ringwood High Street, just before 3.30pm on Thursday, December 14.
A 74-year-old local man later died in hospital after the incident outside Flames Candle Shop.
Officers investigating the fatality are appealing for anyone who was in the High Street at that time or who witnessed the incident to contact them.
