The Mayor's Charity - Ringwood and Fordingbrige Talking News
The Ringwood and Fordingbridge Talking News is run by a group of volunteers who meet regularly to produce Talking Newspapers.  They extract items of interest from local newspapers, record these items onto an audio cassette and dispatch copies of these tapes to their listeners.  They also clean, inspect and repair returned tapes for re-use.

Any blind or partially sighted person may receive a sixty minute tape each fortnight – this service is entirely FREE of charge.  It is also possible for people with other disabilities which cause reading difficulties to receive tapes on request.

Further information on the group’s activities can be obtained from Mr P Ansell (01425 475886) or Mrs E Drew (01425 480918) or by writing to the Ringwood & Fordingbridge Talking News, c/o 65 Christchurch Road, Ringwood, BH24 1DU.
