As the second concert in our 2006/07 season, Avon Valley Concerts are delighted to welcome the Aurora Ensemble to Fordingbridge.
Prizewinners at the European chamber music competition ‘Musique d'Ensemble’ held at the Paris Conservatoire in 2001, the Aurora Ensemble has performed at many major venues and festivals in Britain and abroad. It has broadcast on ORS Television (Austria) & BBC Radio 3 for the Young Artists' Forum and was selected as one of the featured ensembles in Making Music's Concert Promoters' Network brochure for the 2005 - 2006 season.
Jim Parker has written the scores for numerous TV dramas and documentaries. We are especially honoured that the Aurora Ensemble has chosen our concert to perform his latest composition, Boulevard. 4-time BAFTA WINNER for best television music
